| Superconductor is the most expensive material we have ever worked with at Tactile Turn. It’s hard to acquire and we didn’t get nearly as much as we had hoped. But, guess that's what makes it so special. The rods of copper with niobium and titanium alloy filaments are mostly used in practical applications where the material is cooled to near zero degrees kelvin, allowing electrical current to flow with incredibly low resistance. We etch away the copper so the niobium filaments pop out and create an interesting texture. | |
